Jessica Malat

A New Jersey antive, Jessica Malat (UPAC Alumna) began her professional training at Goucher College in Baltimore before relocating to New York to train with the Pushing Progress Contemporary Training Program. Under the program, she has trained with Calen Kurka, Chris Hale, Loni Landon, Bryn Cohn, Sidra Bell, and Gregory Dolbashian among others. She has performed in The REVERB Dance Festival, Dancespace Projects, Gibney's POP Series, and the Inside/Out Festival at Jacob's Pillow and in works by Calen Kurka, Trebien Pollard, Alex Ketley, and Bryn Cohn. Through Bryn Cohn and Artists, she has taught workshops at renowned studios such as Peridance Capezio Arts Center, Velocity Dance Center in Seattle, as well as numerous college dance programs. She currently dances with Bryn Cohn + Artists, Corinne Shearer and Dancers, in addition to other NYC based projects. Jessica is currently working in NY as a freelance artist while teaching, adjudicating, and attaining her license in Massage Therapy.
